Our Business Meeting cum Dinner Talk was held on 30 May and featured a veteran artist as guest speaker. Thanks to Eva Cheng, Fundraising Committee member for the HKWPEA Charitable Foundation, Prof. Franco Yuen Siu-fai, 阮兆輝教授 BBS, BH shared his journey to becoming an acclaimed Cantonese opera peformer. Mrs. Barbara Tang graced the event and the audience were delighted by the interaction between the couple. 63 members and guests were introduced to Cantonese opera in the warm-up talk, paving way for the upcoming fundraising opera in January 2025, which Prof. Yuen will act as Art Director. Hosted by Peking House, attendants also enjoyed the tasteful Shanghai cuisine and a hand-pulled noodle show.
