Professor Ying was invited to introduce the origin and features of Kun Opera at the event hosted at Eva Cheng’s Kam Yuen. The integration of graceful movements and techniques of Kun Opera with classical Cantonese Opera was to be brought on stage in the fundraising opera 粵韻崑風白蛇傳. The talk enhanced Hongkongers’ understanding and interest in Kun culture. 43 members and friends joined and had the opportunity to try out the elegant costumes.
