A one-year MoU was signed on 12 January 2026 with Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS) for Post-Trauma Psychological Support Programme to provide mental health support to students affected in the Wang Fuk Court fire tragedy. Our Charitable Foundation has donated HK$200,000 as seed money for programme initiation. Members were called to donate for the cause in December 2025. The Programme is focused on the psychological support needs of schools, teachers, students, and parents where there are service gaps in Taipo and surrounding districts.
An appreciation dinner hosted by HKPS was held on 2 February 2026 at 功德林上海素食. President Julianne, Sandra Mak, Shirley Xie and Angel Luke joined to show appreciation to psychologists who devoted their time and efforts to the Tai Po Project. Thanks to HKPS who has substantially reduced its charges in order to maximize the usage of donor funds.
