The Culture & Art Committee invited two experts, Ms. Susanna Siu, Chief Heritage Executive of the Antiquities & Monuments Office under the Development Bureau and Mr. Chau Hing Wah, Curator of the Hong Kong Museum of History to lead the tour on Lingnan Traditional Architecture including the Panyu Shrine. The Shrine, which was formed by 160 wooden components, had to be dismantled in parts before shipping to Hong Kong, where a temporary showroom was built to accomodate this huge masterpiece. 13 members & friends enjoyed the tour and had lunch gathering afterwards.
