The Association was created with the mission to enhance professional standards, training and business opportunities and consolidating mutual support for members. We also aim to develop networking opportunities for women executives in business and professions in Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and overseas. Ranking high in the Association’s agenda is to respond to the HKSAR government on various policy consultations.
We aspire to pursue a mission which reflects the role of women in pursuing impactful, sustainable, collaborative objectives to contribute to the wider community and to achieve this through leadership, innovation, care and nurturing.
We are unique in being one of the very few organisations in Hong Kong which has Special Consultative Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), which sits at the heart of the United Nations organisation structural system. ECOSOC which seeks to advance the three dimensions of sustainable development – economic, social and environmental. It is the central platform for fostering debate and innovative thinking, forging consensus on ways forward, and coordinating efforts to achieve internationally agreed goals.




Our aims:
- to be a respected platform which provides leadership, education, business networking, service and advocacy opportunities through which women can reach their fullest personal and professional potential
- to reflect community views to the HKSAR government of issues of concern to the community and to liaise with the government to formulate policies for achieving solutions to such issues
- to develop and inspire leadership skills in young women
- to encourage women professionals and entrepreneurs to embrace new opportunities presented by the new economy with an innovative and cross-generational mindset
- to provide support for women professionals and executives in their well-being and in achieving their full career potential
- to harness collective and individual resources to contribute to the wider community in impactful service and sustainable development
- to promote collaboration and interaction between Hong Kong women entrepreneurs and professionals with entrepreneurs and professionals in Mainland China and in the international community.
- to leverage our special consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council and initiate impactful, sustainable, collaborative advocacy and projects to contribute to the three dimensions of sustainable development – economic, social and environmental, in the wide community.
