Outstanding Women Professionals Award
About the Award
This award is a tri-annual event which honors and celebrates the achievements of women in Hong Kong . The award recognizes women who have made significant contribution to their professions, Hong Kong ‘s business environment and society. They are selected for providing outstanding examples to business leaders, peers and youth alike, in their high standard of integrity and ethical values.
The Award carries two categories: Outstanding Women Professionals and Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs. For each category, there are three recipients.
Invitation for nominations normally begins in February or March of the year of award, through publicity in the media, as w ell as extensive direct mailing to local business and professional associations, societies, corporations, universities, and individual business and community leaders.
Award exercises were held in 1999, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014 and 2017.
